New Name, Same Heart

We’re excited to reintroduce ourselves as California Resource Services for Independent Living! While our name has changed, we’re still the same dedicated team, expanding our services across California while continuing to serve Southern California.

Our mission to empower people with disabilities remains unchanged. We’re here to provide resources, advocacy, and support—helping everyone we serve reach their full potential.

Celebrating 45 Years of Impact On September 7, our staff dressed to impress for an evening of laughter, connection, and celebration. Held every five years, this event highlighted our achievements and commitment to empowering people with disabilities to live independently. The night began with mingling and reconnecting with familiar and new faces, followed by exciting giveaways, a magic show, and plenty of photo booth fun!

"Five years ago, our organization was much smaller, with just 40 employees and four programs. Today, we’ve grown to over 135 staff and 22 programs, making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities across California. This growth is a testament to our shared vision: creating paths to independence for everyone. Together, we’re not just supporting our community today, but building the leaders of tomorrow."
